What goes into a stone protection installation quote?

Understand the scope behind the price.

Coverage and geometry

The quote needs more than a room name. Separate surfaces, exposed faces, cut-outs and the proposed layout all help define the work. Measure each top individually and show changes in direction. Equal areas can involve different layouts, so a generic per-area figure may not explain the final installation scope.

Consider the finish, the edge profile and the light across your surface.

Product and surface condition

The selected film and finish should be named in the written quotation. Existing treatments, old film or repairs may require separate review or preparation. Ask which of these items is included and how uncertainty will be handled. No universal product specification or removal allowance should be assumed.

Access and acceptance

Include your location and practical access details when discussing availability. Review the total price, applicable GST, inclusions and any conditions before accepting. Attendance is arranged for agreed installation work after the scope, price and appointment are accepted; quoting starts remotely from your photographs and details.
