Send a specification pack
Include drawings, finish schedules, stone details and the areas proposed for protection. Mark visible edges, public-facing surfaces and any wet or food-service zones. State the project address, access arrangements and programme, including other trades working in the same areas.
Agree the approval process
Nominate who approves the sample, the coverage layout and the final finish. Where a project involves a designer, builder and end client, written sign-off helps avoid conflicting expectations. Any product performance documentation should relate to the exact specified film, not a generic material category.
Separate supply from installation
Tell us whether you require material supply, installation or both. Trade quantities, cutting requirements, packaging and delivery timing need confirmation. Do not base a project programme on assumed stock or dispatch times; request availability with your quantities and destination.
Make handover part of the scope
Ask for care instructions suitable for the end user and cleaning contractor. Record the installed product and any relevant limitations. Commercial pricing, warranties and responsibility between trades need written agreement before work is scheduled.
