Stone splashback protection enquiries

Vertical surfaces need their own specification.

Describe the exposure

Include whether the splashback is behind a sink, cooktop or preparation area. Photograph the full panel, outlets and surrounding fittings. Heat, moisture and cleaning exposure vary, so a benchtop film should not automatically be assumed suitable.

Consider the finish, the edge profile and the light across your surface.

Measure panels and interruptions

Give panel height and width, noting joins, sockets, shelving and other interruptions. Tell us if any fittings are still to be installed. Drawings can support the photos, but existing conditions should be shown as well.

Request application-specific advice

Ask for written confirmation of suitability for the exact location and selected product. Any clearance or installation requirement must come from the relevant appliance and material guidance. No generic film claim should replace that review.
