Information for cleaning contractors

A consistent routine for protected surfaces.

Identify protected areas

The owner should provide a clear list of surfaces with film and the relevant care instructions. Avoid treating neighbouring bare and protected surfaces as identical. If the installed product is unknown, ask before selecting a cleaner.

Consider the finish, the edge profile and the light across your surface.

Use a dedicated routine

Follow the product-specific cleaning method. Keep cloths and tools clean and avoid using equipment contaminated with abrasive grit. Do not trial strong cleaners on a visible area to see whether a mark will disappear.

Report instead of improvising

If a mark, lifting edge or finish change is noticed, record its location and tell the owner. Do not trim film, add adhesive or attempt polishing as part of ordinary cleaning. Any corrective work should be discussed separately.
