A defined surface schedule
A useful quote lists each surface separately: the island, wall run, vanity or tabletop. Match those names to your photographs or sketch. Check whether vertical returns, exposed edges and cut-outs are included. If you add an area later, request a revised scope rather than assuming the original price covers it.
The product and the preparation
Ask for the exact film and finish being supplied, the proposed layout and the surface condition required before application. Existing repairs, coatings or finish differences should be recorded. If preparation is included, the quote should describe it; if another trade is needed, responsibility should be clear.
Timing and completion
Confirm the price, applicable GST, access requirements and proposed appointment. Check the product-specific return-to-use and care instructions. A quotation is a starting point for agreement, not a confirmed booking. Keep the accepted scope with your invoice and product information.
