Start with your surface
The right protection plan begins with the benchtop itself. Tell us whether you have marble, quartzite, granite, engineered stone or another surface, and whether the finish is polished, honed or textured. Include any existing coating or previous treatment. A product that suits one finish may not suit another. We review the surface and the proposed film together before recommending a specification.
Choose the coverage, not just the colour
A full island, a kitchen run, a dining top and a bathroom vanity each need different detailing. Edges, joins, cut-outs and curved corners affect the layout. Photograph the entire surface as well as close-ups of the edges. We discuss where seams and termination lines would sit so you understand the visible result before agreeing to proceed.
Set realistic expectations
Protection film is a separate material applied to the surface. Its sheen, feel and edge detail may differ from bare stone. It is not a structural repair, a way to conceal deep damage or a licence to put hot cookware directly on the bench. Specific resistance, care requirements and any warranty depend on the film selected and must be confirmed in your written quote.

Send clear overall photos, close-ups of existing damage, your suburb and the length × width of every section. Tell us whether you want installation or supply only. We review those details remotely and request only what is missing. Attendance is arranged for agreed work after scope, price and timing are accepted.
